Lei-Anna is an experienced educator with a deep commitment to fostering learning environments where every student can thrive. With a career spanning more than three decades, Lei-Anna has taught in various capacities, starting in 1989 with the Franklin-McKinley School District in San Jose, CA. She has served as an elementary and middle school teacher in California, South Carolina, and Montana; a curriculum and professional development specialist; adjunct professor at Montana State University; instructional coach; lead facilitator; and mentor.

She has worked in curriculum development for 18 years, and for the past seven years, Lei-Anna has supported school districts with IM®️ Math implementation in grades K-12 as a facilitator and coach. She currently serves as a school board trustee for Bozeman Public Schools in Bozeman, Montana, where she has lived for 35 years.

Lei-Anna’s passion lies in connecting learners to their greatest potential by empowering self-identity and fostering a sense of community. As a mother of three, a proud pet owner of two dogs, two cats, and a horse, she understands the importance of balance and the connections that shape our lives, both in and out of the classroom. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys hiking, backpacking, and skiing in the beautiful landscapes of Montana.
