As we reflect on this school year and look towards the summer, we have been considering the practices and frameworks that support teachers in granting all students access to grade-level content. At Illustrative Mathematics we believe that all students are brilliant, and with the right conditions and support, can shine brightly.

In the fourth webinar of the series we will host a midsummer panel discussion with equity leaders and math education education experts. The focus will be on the practices and structures that support historically marginalized groups with acquiring critical math skills. This team of experts will share insights and practical instructional moves to ensure all students. including Black, Brown, and multilingual learners, feel seen, heard, and challenged in the math classroom.

During the webinar, Illustrative Mathematics CEO and Co-Founder, Bill McCallum will share details about the importance of building community and fostering a sense of belonging in the IM Classroom.

This event is hosted by Dionne Aminata, Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives, Illustrative Mathematics.
