Dr. Tashana Howse began her career in education as a high school mathematics teacher. She is currently a professor of mathematics education at Georgia Gwinnett College, where she teaches mathematics content courses for elementary education majors and supervises field experience for future mathematics educators. In addition to her work in higher education, Tashana is an educational consultant who provides professional development for in-service teachers. She strongly believes that all students should have access to high-quality, equitable mathematics instruction that both enables and equips them to engage in democratic citizenship. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
